Everyone has the right to have problem-free teeth and a gorgeous smile.
Before, people just had to put up with the appearance and functionality of the teeth because “that was their lot”; now though, as a result of the amazing advances in science and aesthetic dentistry, it’s as easy as possible for us all to have gorgeous smiles, and to recover the ability to chew normally on food even if we have total loss of teeth. And we shouldn’t be happy with any less than that.
Adapting dental treatments to every patient’s needs
Some years ago, the professionals in this sector started looking for better solutions for our patients, because each person has different needs, both clinically and aesthetically. Our job is not only to offer a wide range of clinical solutions and procedures but also to ensure that each of these can be adapted to make them affordable for each patient.
Dental implants
Dental implants were a revolutionary change in dentistry: we had finally managed to swap a real tooth for an artificial one that worked the same way as a natural dental root!
Implants are a structure made of a bio-compatible material (titanium) with a macroscopic design that lets the bone tissue adhere to the titanium naturally. This process is known as osseo-integration.
An osseo-integrated implant is strong, stable and secure. It works the same way as a natural dental root. Teeth placed on an implant have the same physical appearance and functionality as the original teeth and, sometimes, they’re even better than the original.
Implants are a great solution: they look good and improve the self-esteem of people who thought they’d never ever be able to have a gorgeous smile again. Last generation bio-compatible ceramic material transmits, reflects and disperses light in the same way a normal tooth does. It looks excellent and adapts extremely easily to soft tissue, making the restoration look natural. In fact, the result is usually even better than the original natural tooth.
Even so, we went another step beyond. We already had the solution, but we wanted it to be as fast and as simple as possible: the patient should not feel any discomfort. So, we simplified the process with a new surgical technique that was minimally invasive. Obviously, this kind of surgery reduces the pain, the inflammation and the treatment time for the patient.
Barely invasive technique
This barely invasive technique, in combination with the immediate loading of dental implants, also means there will be less tissue damage and improves soft tissue integration and gum recovery, the result being a long-lasting good appearance for soft tissues: healthy, good-looking gums.
The next step was shortening treatment times: to enable the implant to be available for use immediately without waiting for the wounds to heal up fully.
And we managed it
Thanks to the new designs of the implants we have managed a faster rate of osseo-integration and a better capacity to keep the implant stable while the wounds are healing. In this primary stage, the high stability of the implant is an essential requirement for the immediate loading of the implant, eliminating the need for a waiting period while the wound heals. This guides us to a new level of effectiveness, improving the security of implant treatment and making it more comfortable for the patient in less time.
Computer-guided surgery
And, exceeding all of our expectations, a new solution appeared: computer-guided surgery.
Computer-guided surgery is a revolutionary system to plan treatment and surgery; it allows transfer of planning undertaken outside the mouth back to the mouth with outstanding precision and ease, maximising the use of available bone and allowing immediate function, even in jawbones with a high rate of bone re-absorption and minimum bone volume.
This technique can be applied to any patient, both using the conventional models or the 3D design computer-assisted models; the technique shows the exact position and depth of the implants before surgery. This information is used to create a surgical template that can be used throughout the procedure from the beginning to the end of the surgery, and without lifting up the gums.

With the help of the guide, the procedure is easy, predictable and secure and, with no waiting time for the wounds to heal, the implants can be loaded immediately, allowing the patient to leave with a fully functional set of teeth and a gorgeous smile.
A smile not only makes for a good appearance, it also often makes the difference needed to give us back our self-esteem. A beautiful and healthy smile can transform our everyday life… and today it’s within anyone’s reach.
